More About the Role

This is a full-time role for a Corporate Deal Lawyer based in Austin, TX with the option for some remote work. The Deal Lawyer will be responsible for handling legal transactions, drafting and negotiating agreements, providing legal advice on deal structures, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.


Your compensation will determine your target billable hours, with additional profit sharing compensation and partnership if you go beyond that and are able to develop a book of business through opportunities presented by the firm.


This is particularly an attractive option for an attorney with BigLaw or boutique corporate shop experience that is looking to work with and impact great clients while still having a life.

 

Qualifications

  • A sense of urgency to support our clients’ needs
  • Proactive communicator
  • Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills
  • Knowledge of Corporate and Business Law
  • Experience in leading deals, including structuring, papering and closing
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and licensed to practice law in Texas
  • Experience in a law firm setting
