Senior Manager of Financial Reporting

Excellent opportunity to join a Technology Company with a 100+ year history and leaders in their industry looking for a Senior Manager of SEC Reporting. This is a newly created position as the Company is getting ready for an IPO and will report directly into the VP of Finance and play a key role in the Company’s strategic growth initiatives over the coming years. Responsibilities include preparation and filing of all SEC reports (10Qs, 10Ks and 8ks), including drafting footnotes, coordinating disclosures with internal departments, and conducting technical research accordance to GAAP. Research and document technical accounting issues related to material transactions to support audits and financial reporting – mainly US GAAP. Lead analysis and documentation of technical issues on variable interest entity & consolidation, leasing, revenue recognition, debt, and equity method investments under US GAAP. Maintain internal control environment and ensure compliance with accounting policies and SOX regulations. CPA (preferred) with 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience with 4+ years of previous public accounting desired.
