SNI Financial is partnered with a publicly traded company that is looking to hire a Consolidations & Reporting Accounting Manager due to an internal promotion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage & mentor a team of 2 - 3 Senior Accountants
- Ensure company goals & objectives are being met
- Develop strong relationships with other accounting and finance departments within the company and encourage cross functional collaboration
- Review monthly consolidation process and ensure accuracy with data and journal entries
- Review journal entries and analysis ensuring proper internal controls are being followed
- Resolve any reconciling variances and review reports
- Review financial statements
- Champion process improvements and lead the adoption of them within the department
- Support annual audits
- Actively participate and lead special projects
- Enhance internal controls by developing & implementing best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA or CPA eligible
- 5+ years of accounting experience with prior consolidations experience
- 1+ year of management experience leading people
- Experience with SAP or Oracle a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills
