Company Description:
Our Manufacturing client is searching for a strong FP&A Manager to partner with the Director of FP&A and oversee the 13-week cash flow forecast and 3-statement financial modeling. This individual will support the Director of FP&A and CFO on preparing board slides, prepare budgeting and forecasting, and assist with the annual operating plan. Their ideal candidate must have experience in the manufacturing industry, and be technically capable.

Responsibilities:
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, and corporate functions to support financial planning and analysis activities aligned with organizational objectives.
- Develop and maintain KPI tracking to measure business performance, surface trends, and identify risks and opportunities for leadership.
- Build and maintain automated reporting and dashboards using BI tools to improve reporting speed, accuracy, and accessibility across the organization.
- Extract, transform, and structure financial and operational data from ERP and source systems to support scalable reporting; partner with IT and system owners to improve data reliability and accessibility.
- Develop repeatable reporting solutions using Power BI, Power Query, or similar tools; write and maintain SQL queries to retrieve and validate financial and operational datasets.
- Build scalable data models supporting forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting, while identifying opportunities to replace manual processes with automated data pipelines.
- Prepare financial analysis and summarize insights to support decision-making by business unit leaders and executives, including reporting packages for senior leadership and the board.
- Support the annual planning and rolling forecast processes, including data collection, consolidation, and variance analysis.
- Perform manufacturing and operational analysis including volume, absorption, cost, and margin performance; identify key drivers impacting results and communicate findings concisely.
- Support treasury activities including cash forecasting, debt tracking, and compliance reporting.
- Maintain scalable FP&A processes and reporting tools as the business grows organically and through acquisition activity, including financial integration support.
- Demonstrate strong ownership of assigned deliverables with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences, adapting style and detail level to the audience.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; motivated to develop a deep understanding of the business and grow within the finance organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related degree
- Manufacturing industry experience is required.
- 5+ years of FP&A experience is required.
- Systems experience including Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or Adaptive all deemed good.
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams, business leaders, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results
