Job Summary


A growing, privately held manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join its corporate finance team. This role reports to a senior finance leader and is responsible for overseeing monthly close, consolidated financial reporting, and management reporting for a multi-entity organization.


The Finance Manager will play a key role in financial close leadership, internal controls, audit and tax coordination, and executive-level reporting. This position partners closely with senior leadership to enhance reporting capabilities and identify financial and operational improvement opportunities.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
  • Oversee consolidated financial reporting for a multi-entity organization
  • Prepare and distribute internal and external financial statements
  • Support and continuously improve the internal controls environment
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert on corporate accounting policies and procedures
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to support strategic initiatives
  • Act as a primary point of contact for external auditors and tax advisors
  • Partner with IT teams on financial reporting enhancements and system improvements
  • Manage, mentor, and develop finance team members
  • Lead or support special projects as business needs evolve


Qualifications & Experience

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong understanding of accounting systems and financial reporting
  • Experience with corporate consolidations in a multi-location or multi-entity environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with large ERP systems preferred
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential financial information


Education & Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
  • CPA and/or MBA (preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience in industry or public accounting
  • 2+ years of people management or supervisory experience


Work Environment

  • Standard professional office environment
  • Regular interaction with cross-functional leaders and external partners
  • Requires extended computer use and routine office activities
  • Occasional light lifting (up to 20 lbs)
