Headfarmer is partnering with a large, publicly traded technology company in the East Valley in search of an Accounting Manager with strong leadership, month end and technical accounting skills. You will be supporting them with post-ERP implementation functions, along with month end preparation and review.
You must have over 8 years of progressive, corporate accounting experience, including management-level skills and excellent technical accounting knowledge. It’s a plus if you’ve worked for a publicly traded company and/or very large organization.
This role is HYBRID, working Tuesday thru Thursday in office.
Pay is up to $90 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.
Your key job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Own and manage month end, quarter end and year end close functions
- Review, analyze and prepare financial reporting packages
- Complete high-level, complex reconciliations
- Initiate process improvement and automation functions within the accounting department
- Prepare for external and internal audits, along with other compliance-related reporting and analysis
- Review and approve staff-level transactions, along with providing training and coaching as necessary
Education, Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership experience
- Advanced Excel skills + ERP software experience required
- Excellent process improvement, streamlining and strategy experience
- Flexibility to handle day to day accounting/month-end functions as necessary
- Above-average communication, collaboration and mentorship skills
