Scheduling Analyst

A Aerospace client is looking for an Planning/Scheduling Analyst to prepare, develop and coordinate the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives.


Location: Melbourne, FL (Onsite)

Position: Planning/Scheduling Analyst

Pay Rate: $34.8/hr.

Duration: 9 months (Can still extend)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.



Responsibilities:

  • Ensure schedules are integrated across engineering, manufacturing, materials, and finance, conducting critical path analysis and network logic validation.
  • Create and maintain the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet program objectives.
  • Implement industry standards such as DCMA 14-point analysis, Earned Value Management (EVM), and Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA).
  • Utilize tools like Microsoft Project, Open Plan, or Primavera P6 to monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and suggest corrective actions.
  • Support Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) and prepare weekly/monthly status reports for management Basic Qualifications for Administrative Functional



Basic Qualifications

  • Proven experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
  • Understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and reporting.
  • Active, in-scope DoD Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one), often required to start.
  • Experience within the defense or aerospace industry.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the Aerospace/Defense industry.
  • Experience in Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA), Critical Path Analysis, and knowledge of DCMA 14-point health metrics.
  • Deep understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) guidelines, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development, and Material Cost Management.
