Salary Range: $85,000 to $95,000
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-respected, long-established law firm in the Buckhead area of Atlanta to recruit an experienced Corporate / Commercial Real Estate Paralegal. This position supports a small transactional team handling a high volume of commercial real estate closings and related corporate work. The firm represents sophisticated commercial clients and developers and does not handle residential real estate matters.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing and post-closing
- Coordinate end-to-end closings for acquisitions and dispositions of commercial properties
- Manage and track due diligence materials, timelines, and closing deliverables
- Order, review, and analyze title commitments, surveys, zoning letters, and related documentation
- Identify and help resolve title and survey issues in coordination with title underwriters
- Prepare, organize, and maintain closing binders and transaction records
- Assist with purchase and sale agreement review and related transaction documents
- Support corporate and entity-related matters tied to real estate transactions, including formations, governance, and modifications
- Prepare organizational documents such as resolutions, consents, and authorization materials
- Handle UCC searches, filings, certificates of existence, and ongoing compliance matters
- Submit filings to applicable state and local agencies as required
- Maintain accurate calendaring, deadline tracking, and filing systems
- Communicate professionally and confidently with attorneys, clients, title companies, and opposing counsel
- Provide paralegal-level support with some administrative responsibilities as needed (no billable hour requirement)
- All matters are commercial in nature; no residential work
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant paralegal experience required
- Strong commercial real estate background is essential
- Proven experience supporting Georgia CRE transactions and closings
- Title and survey review experience is required
- Corporate transactional experience is a strong plus
- UCC and multi-state filing experience preferred
- Paralegal certificate not required, but viewed favorably
- Stable work history is important; limited job movement preferred
- Mid-to-large law firm environment exposure is strongly preferred
- Experience with developers and commercial entities purchasing large tracts of land or existing commercial assets is strongly preferred
Team & Work Environment
- Supporting multiple attorneys
- Serving as the primary paralegal for the firm's corporate and commercial real estate practice
- Collaborative, approachable leadership and a collegial team environment
- Long-tenured firm with a reputation for professionalism and retention
- Typical workweek is approximately 40 hours
Work Arrangement
- Fully onsite during the first 90 days for onboarding
- After 90 days, one remote / work-from-home day per week
- Standard schedule is 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with flexibility on start and end times
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range of $85,000 to $95,000, DOE
