📋 Position Overview

The firm is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to support attorneys in managing active insurance defense and civil litigation cases. This role offers strong exposure to the full litigation lifecycle, including case development, discovery, and trial preparation.

🧾 Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain litigation case files from inception through trial
• Draft, review, and file legal documents (pleadings, motions, discovery)
• Handle discovery (propounding, responses, document production)
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, and court filings
• Assist with trial preparation (exhibits, binders, witness coordination)
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Conduct legal research and document review
• Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules

🎓 Qualifications

• 1+ years of litigation paralegal experience
• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures
• Experience in insurance defense preferred
• Ability to manage multiple active cases
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with legal software and case management tools

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in insurance defense or personal injury litigation
• Trial preparation exposure
• Paralegal certificate (preferred, not required)

• Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
• Location: Irvine, CA (Orange County area)

💰 Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $70,000 – $90,000 Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
