Compensation: Starting at $80,000 per year (DOE), along with comprehensive benefits and opportunity for annual bonuses.


Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Client Service Associate role based in San Diego, CA. An experience Client Service Associate is critical in ensuring seamless operational support for our clients and advisors, with a strong emphasis on custodial relationships - particularly with Charles Schwab and Fidelity. The Client Service Associate with oversee daily workflows, manage client onboarding and account servicing, and ensure compliance with industry regulations while driving operational efficiency. , providing exceptional customer service, supporting financial advisors with administrative tasks, and ensuring timely and professional communication with clients. You will be responsible for assisting with account management, preparing client documentation, and addressing client inquiries to enhance their overall experience.


Responsibilities

Custodian Support (Schwab & Fidelity)

  • Serve as the primary liaison with Schwab and Fidelity for account setup, transfers, and maintenance.
  • Manage custodial platform workflows, including new account openings, ACAT transfers, money movement, and trading support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve custodian-related issues promptly to minimize client impact.

Client Service Operations

  • Oversee client onboarding process, ensuring accurate documentation and timely account establishment.
  • Coordinate cash management, distributions, contributions, and wires with custodians.
  • Provide operational support to advisors and client service teams to deliver a high-quality client experience.
  • Support advisors and portfolio manager with Alternative Investments – including purchases, capital calls, redemptions, etc.

Process & Workflow Management

  • Develop and refine operational procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices for compliance, recordkeeping, and data integrity.
  • Monitor daily workflows to ensure deadlines are met and service standards are maintained.

Technology & Systems

  • Utilize custodial platforms (Schwab Advisor Center, Fidelity Wealthscape) and firm CRM/portfolio management systems.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology for automation and improved reporting.
  • Train staff on operational systems and custodial processes.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to SEC and FINRA regulations applicable to RIA operations.
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Collaborate with compliance team to implement policies and procedures.
