Position: Service Specialist – FAST
Location Coverage: Supporting 12 client sites in Downtown Dallas
Attire: Business professional, as the ideal candidate will be working in corporate offices, including law firms and other client-facing environments.
Overview:
The Service Specialist – FAST provides a variety of administrative support services across multiple Epiq accounts in the local market. This unique, client-facing role allows the employee to contribute to multiple service lines, ensuring client needs are met and expectations exceeded. A strong customer service mindset is essential for success in this role.
THIS IS A FLOATING POSITION - Meaning the ideal candidate would support multiple locations around the Dallas area. This is a full-time role, NOT an on-call position.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Mail Services: Meter, sort, and distribute mail and accountable packages according to schedule.
- Copy Services: Accurately produce copy, print, and scan projects following written instructions.
- Reception: Answer incoming telephone calls, route to the appropriate person, and greet/announce visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Hospitality Services: Coordinate and maintain client conference rooms, common areas, and kitchens. Ensure all rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for continual use. Organize and distribute client kitchen supplies, maintain inventory, and order supplies as needed.
- Floor Coordination: Maintain copy rooms and general supplies, deliver paper, and perform basic daily maintenance.
- Facilities Services: Support small office moves, hang pictures, assist with cleaning services, and communicate with key client contacts regarding building or equipment concerns.
- Flexibility: Adapt weekly schedule to cover absences and vacations; may include changes in work locations or shift times.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
- Professional and tactful problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift or move 40 lbs or more
- Ability to handle packages on a wheeled cart up to 75 lbs
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, or sit for extended periods
- Availability to work all shifts between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday (including 7:00–4:00, 7:30–4:30, 8:00–5:00, 8:30–5:30, and 9:00–6:00 shifts)
Compensation:
- $17.00 – $20.00 per hour, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
