Job Title: Customer Account Representative

Pay Rate: $30 - $44/hr.
Position Summary
The Customer Account Representative (CAR) serves as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering high-quality service and support. This role manages customer inquiries, processes orders, prepares quotations, and collaborates with internal teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting and smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and enter purchase orders into ERP systems
- Prepare and deliver customer quotations and documentation
- Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone
- Act as the main contact for customers, buyers, and supply chain teams
- Coordinate customer meetings and site visits
- Track customer scorecards and performance metrics
- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Planning, and Manufacturing for costing and order accuracy
- Utilize SAP and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage orders and workflows
- Monitor customer portals for pricing, lead times, and contract compliance
- Resolve customer issues related to delivery, warranty, or order discrepancies
- Support forecasting and demand planning activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 1–2+ years of relevant customer service experience
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and CRM tools (Salesforce)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- Detail-oriented with a strong customer service mindset
