Location: This role is based in Boise, ID, with a flexible hybrid arrangement available for attorneys. This is not a fully remote position; candidates should be located in the Boise area or actively in the process of relocating.

Job Description

  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and briefs across a range of complex civil matters including professional liability, trucking and transportation, insurance coverage and bad faith, and commercial disputes
  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategy in close collaboration with partners and clients
  • Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and engage with opposing counsel
  • Appear in court for hearings, oral arguments, and proceedings
  • Manage discovery processes including written discovery, document review, and subpoenas
  • Collaborate with expert witnesses and consultants to build and refine litigation strategy
  • Support trial preparation from pre-trial motions through verdict


Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active Idaho Bar license or currently pursuing reciprocal admission (required)
  • 2+ years of civil litigation experience preferred; candidates with a clerkship background, litigation-adjacent experience, or experience in other litigation practice areas (including criminal) will be considered
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Courtroom confidence and genuine enthusiasm for trial work
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
