Role Overview
The Litigation Associate will work closely with senior partners on complex, high-value matters in both federal and state courts, including federal MDL and New Jersey state court MCL litigations. This role is designed for a driven attorney who wants substantial courtroom exposure, independent case management, and the opportunity to build a long-term career with a heavy-hitting plaintiffs' firm.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on high-value federal and state court litigation matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal briefs, discovery requests/responses, expert disclosures, and other essential litigation documents.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research, develop case strategies, and analyze medical records, expert reports, and scientific literature.
- Take and defend depositions, and attend court appearances, case management conferences, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Manage an independent caseload of personal injury and related matters from inception to settlement or verdict.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and the court.
What You Bring to the Table
- 4+ years of litigation experience, ideally with a focus on plaintiff personal injury, medical malpractice, mass torts, complex civil litigation, and/or class actions.
- Bar Admission: Active admission to practice law in New Jersey is required. New York admission is a strong plus.
- Exceptional Writing Skills: Confidence in legal research and writing, with the ability to draft high-quality pleadings, motions, and briefs that require minimal revision.
- Case Management: Strong organizational abilities with a proven track record of handling multiple matters at different stages simultaneously.

- Base Salary: $100,000 – $175,000 (Commensurate with experience)
