ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER


The Assistant Community Manager will be responsible for upholding the administrative integrity of business practices in adherence to Fair Housing guidelines and company policies and procedures. Additionally, responsible for supporting a harmonious work environment and providing an advanced level of customer service to help cultivate a quality community living experience for residents.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Demonstrate professional courtesy in partnering with the Property Manager in maintaining an open-door policy.
  • Assist with conducting tours, maintaining applicant files, gathering required verification, and processing new applications.
  • Mentor and promote the consistency and effectiveness of the Leasing Professional sales performance in all areas related to prospective resident interactions.
  • Maximize resident retention by closely managing and regulating all phases of the resident renewal process.
  • Continuously work toward the procurement of all outstanding rental balances for current residents.
  • Properly document and report all collection efforts to the Property Manager.
  • Assist the Property Manager in ascertaining that the month-end closeout is financially accurate and submitted timely.
  • Oversee the lease enforcement process.
  • Assist with ongoing team training and coaching.
  • Willingly take on additional projects and/​or duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

 

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • One or more years of Assistant Property Manager experience required.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Excellent organization and multitasking skills, and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of property management software.
  • Strong computer skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must have the ability to work Saturdays as part of the regular work schedule.
