The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company’s risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.

The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.
The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo’s risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.

The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.

The Customer Remediation Center of Excellence Data team is hiring for positions reporting to the Exploratory Analytics manager, the Inline quality manager, the Transactional Testing manager, and Remediation Analytics. These teams explore, evaluate, design, test and validate high level regulatory remediations strategies, quality, and data.  The Exploratory Analytics team provides up-front data discovery and analytics supporting the Remediation Analytics teams, as well as defining and implementing initial staging activities for new remediations.  The In-line quality team is responsible for driving first pass quality within our analytics, initially focusing on complex Tier 0/1 efforts. The Transactional Testing team is responsible for developing audit ready transactional verification data, also helping to drive first pass quality within our analytics. The Remediation Analytics teams provide end-to-end ownership of analysis efforts including requirements development, code development, documentation and validation.  Responsibilities will include contributing to the development of strategies to address multiple impact scenarios, working independently to resolve data across complicated data sources such as legacy systems, and executing standard approaches to drive greater consistency and efficiency.


 



Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling demonstrated through work or military experience; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets
  • 3+ years of SQL or SAS experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
  • Ability to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions
  • Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes
  • Ability to translate business needs into complex analysis, designs and recommendations. Uses analysis to identify and define business requirements, while supporting the validity of the final product.
  • Experience coordinating multiple tasks within aggressive time frames
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

  • Knowledge and understanding of incorporating business requirements into coherent technical requirements
     


Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Flexibility to work from home and meet the home eligibility assessment conditions, based on business need
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
