The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company’s risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.

The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.

The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo’s risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.

The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.

The role of Advanced Solutions Analytic Consultant is a critical role within the Customer Remediation COE Analytics organization. This role is fundamental to driving customer remediation plans built on standardized and repeatable solutions which favor our customers and improve accuracy, efficiency, and speed. The Advanced Solutions team is responsible for building these solutions in support of the Customer Remediation COE and partner groups by employing advanced analytic techniques and solution design methodologies to implement time-saving and highly accurate repeatable products. This role requires a sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Employ creative and innovative thinking in establishing solutions to operational and data problems or
• inefficiencies. Identify appropriate design and technology strategies to address problems and create new
• capabilities, using existing technology solutions where possible.
• Design and implement efficient and repeatable solutions that fit within a defined and well-governed
• framework. Participate in determining performance metrics for the solution.
• Exercise skills in appropriate data management, data governance, EUCT development and registration,
• including all documentation requirements.
• Provide end to end project ownership, including partnering with peers and partners to create
• requirements, establishing a consensus-aligned design strategy, developing and documenting technical
• requirements, building the solution, and participating in testing, including but not limited to peer reviews,
• security peer reviews, internal testing, and user acceptance testing
• Must have strong attention to detail and be able to meet high quality standards consistently
• Willing to assist on high priority work outside of regular business hours or on weekends as needed
• Other duties as assigned by manager

• 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling demonstrated through work or military experience; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• 3+ years of SQL experience
• 1+ year of Teradata experience
• 1+ year of MS SQL server experience
• 2+ years of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience
• 2+ years of reporting experience
• 1+ year of source or version control tools experience
• 1+ year of Python experience
• Experience with R programming language
• Experience working with robotic process automation technologies
• Experience with text mining or text analytics
• Experience in gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets
• Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: unit, regression, integration, and stress performance testing
• Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
• Ability to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions
• Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes
• Ability to form a story through data analysis
• Ability to effectively assess stakeholder, partner, or client needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing processes
