About the role

The Account Executive I position is a full cycle sales role, the AE is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities. This position will be selling million-dollar synthetic turf solutions, running tracks, sports lighting, turf maintenance programs and more.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial and ambitious, with excellent written and oral communication skills, client relationship-building skills, and a strong sales skill set.

The territory covered is Western PA - You must live near the Pittsburgh market to be eligible for the role.

Responsibilities of the AE I:

  • Travel approximately 50% to aggressively cover territory and generate new business.
  • Plan and perform sales calls, appointments, and site visits
  • Implement effective business plans and strategies for assigned territory growth
  • Provides accurate weekly forecasting, including deal value, status, decision makers and steps to close
  • Communicate regularly with Sales Management regarding performance, inquiries, competitive activities, complaints, market conditions or other pertinent conditions
  • Attend company meetings, trainings, tradeshows, events and promotions

You must have

  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills and strong writing skills
  • Previous successful sales experience
  • The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
  • Naturally curious and passionate
  • Previous sales experience in which you demonstrated the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas a big plus
  • Ability to work in high-energy sales team environment as a team player
  • Quick and efficient with a computer
  • Track record of high achievement with quota carrying role

We would prefer if you were an athlete or sports fanatic, we would also prefer if you had construction experience.
