Account Manager

JK Executive Strategies is proud to partner with a commercial and personal insurance agency in search of an Account Manager to join its team!
The Account Manager will support clients and producers across bond administration, claims, quoting, renewals, and ongoing account service. This individual will play a key role in managing commercial insurance accounts, ensuring timely policy handling, maintaining strong communication with clients and carriers, and helping ensure coverage aligns with client needs and contractual requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare bid, performance, and payment bonds
- Report claims for assigned customers
- Follow up on larger claims and keep customers updated on claim status
- Gather intake information for new business from producers
- Submit new business applications to carriers
- Prepare and provide proposals, including payment plan options, to producers
- Issue policies for new business accounts
- Send supplemental applications as needed
- Gather quotes for additional policies
- Present quotes to insureds and/or provide them to producers
- Review expiration lists to identify requotes, common effective dates, coverage changes, and producer references
- Gather renewal quotes from carriers and track timely receipt
- Prepare renewal proposals for producers or directly for insureds
- Bind coverage for renewal business
- Review client contracts, including agreements with customers, vendors, and leases, to ensure insurance compliance
Requirements
- Experience in commercial lines insurance account management
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license (or ability to obtain)
- Knowledge of bonds, claims handling, quoting, renewals, and policy service
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines effectively
- Strong communication and follow-up skills with clients, producers, and carriers
- Detail-oriented with the ability to review contracts for insurance compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
