Shift hours: Nights 7pm to 7am 2-2-3 shift

Summary of Position
Nature and Scope:
The Warehouse Operator temp reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and is directly responsible for the shipping, receiving, material storage, and inventory control functions in the warehouse.
Principle Accountabilities
• Comply with all Federal regulatory Hazardous Waste procedures as well as all local and state regulatory requirements.
• Comply with all DOT handling and shipping regulatory requirements for Hazardous Materials.
• Be or become certified for all industrial equipment required to operate their position. This will include sit down electric fork lifts, electric reach trucks, and electric pallet trucks.
• Assist in performing physical inventories.
• Responsible for the put-away of all raw materials and finished goods. This includes using scanning equipment that is tied into SAP and labeling raw materials and finished goods.
• Responsible for package preservation which includes the shrink wrapping, banding, and staging of all finished goods. Knowledge, Skills and Educational Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control, preferably in a warehouse in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating forklifts & pallet jacks is highly desired.
• Some experience with automated inventory control and scanning systems desired.
• Good communication skills along with the ability to work well as a member of a team.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects (50 lbs.) on a regular and consistent basis.
• Ability to work any shift including a 2-2-3 patterned schedule.
