Vice President of Finance & Administration

10th St. Talent
San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area

Vice President of Finance & Administration

Location: South Central Texas (Greater San Antonio / Houston Corridor) · Hybrid

Requirement: Active CPA (required)

A privately held, high-growth specialty manufacturing and distribution company is seeking a VP of Finance & Administration to lead and build out the finance function during a period of significant scaling. The company operates a vertically integrated model and has experienced rapid revenue growth, creating the need for a finance leader who can build infrastructure, not just maintain it.

What You'll Own:

This is a hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the CEO. You will own the full close process, lead ERP system evaluation and migration, build out the finance team, and serve as the strategic financial partner to the executive team. You'll also oversee administrative functions including HR and IT. This is not a role where you delegate the close and focus on strategy — you'll be in the details while simultaneously building for scale.

What We're Looking For:

An active CPA with a track record of owning the close in complex, transaction-heavy environments. You've led or been deeply involved in at least one ERP implementation or migration. You've built finance processes and teams from the ground up in a company that was growing faster than its infrastructure — and you liked it. You bring a builder mentality, not a caretaker one. Experience in commodities, manufacturing, distribution, or other high-volume transactional environments is a strong plus but not required.

The Details:

This is a hybrid role — 3 days per week onsite at the company's headquarters in South Central Texas, located in the corridor between San Antonio and Houston. Onsite housing is provided for your in-office days, and relocation assistance is also available. Total compensation at target is in the $250K–$300K range, inclusive of base salary, annual performance bonus, and profit sharing.

If this sounds like your kind of challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
