Wells Fargo Enterprise Information Technology is currently looking for a Software Engineer to help build, support, and maintain Online Banking within the Digital Technology Channels organization.

Digital Technology is driven to deliver the best-in-class online and mobile services to our customers. Digital is the focal point for all the technology supporting the Internet and Mobile Channels. Our dedicated team members and partners deliver, maintain and support high quality software solutions ensuring that Wells Fargo's virtual store is always open and available via online, tablet or mobile to help our customers succeed financially.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Work closely with Business Partners, Scrum masters and engineers to design and develop application solutions that are secure, reliable and reusable components
  • Work within a team environment to help solve complex business requirements while utilizing enterprise and industry best practices
  • Work in coordination with engineers in the team to ensure all application code is defect free before being deployed to production environments
  • Ensure quality, security and compliance requirements are met as part of application development activities
  • Work in an agile application development life-cycle with deployments to production every three weeks

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 4+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • 5+ years of Spring experience
  • 8 + years of Core Java experience
  • 3 + years of JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) development experience


Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to design, develop, and implement large scale/complex software applications
  • Knowledge and understanding of design and development of modern web applications and mobile technologies
  • Knowledge and understanding of test driven application development
  • 4+ years of Agile experience
  • Experience with Spark, Hive and Kafka


Other Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Microservices
  • 5+ years experience with SDLC tools and processes including GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Maven or Gradle
  • Knowledge of stream processing frameworks like Apache Storm / Flink
  • 4 + years of experience in developing JUnit test cases
  • Knowledge of BDD
