The Digital Technology and Innovation group supports the Corporate Strategy, Digital Platform & Innovation Business. Together they work closely to continue evolving Wells Fargo’s digital platforms and enhance integration of the innovation pipeline into our customer-facing capabilities.

Digital Channels Technologies is currently seeking qualified applicants for Software Engineer position with experience on in the field of Java and Web development. The job will entail all aspects of Java and Web development including developing new Tools for production monitoring and reporting and usage of Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Angular.JS and Web-services development . This engineer will write help analyze production monitoring and reporting requirements, document, design and implement solution using Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Angular JS and other Tools. The engineer will work with our business and development partners to create clear concise production monitoring needs, create designs, and write technical specifications to meet those business needs. This position will include Java and Web development and testing before deployment into production. This position will participate in team reviews and will adhere to standards developed within the team.

Roles and responsibilities:

Software Sr. Engineer role as an individual contributor for the most complex Digital Technology and Innovation applications monitoring initiatives. 
• Provide 24/7 production support, upgrades existing Tools as needed, migrate from existing tools to new tools, provide end-user trainings, build dashboards and reports for operations and leadership teams.
• Works on the most complex Digital Technology and Innovation applications production problems where Deep dive analysis is requires. 
• Leads Independent project work is a responsibility in this role.
• Utilizes a thorough understanding of available Digital Technology and Innovation, tools including Glassbox, Tealeaf, AppDynamics, Splunk and Linborg

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 5 + years of AngularJS experience
• 5+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
• 5 + years of Java Web Services experience
• 5+ years of JavaEE experience

• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• 5+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools
• 2+ years of Information Security Tools Development Unix and Windows experience
• Knowledge and understanding of compiling and preparing executive summaries, whitepaper, and presentations for management/senior leaders
• Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
• Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
• Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
