Hiring: SMT Machine Operator
Location: San Diego, CA
Type: Contract
Pay range: $24.00-$26.00/hr on w2 (all inclusive)
We’re looking for an experienced Machine Operator with hands-on expertise in surface mount placement equipment. This role involves equipment setup, machine operation, parts verification, and working with IPC standards.
Key Requirements:
- 1+ year experience with SMT/surface mount placement equipment
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and specifications
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
What You’ll Do:
- Perform machine setup, operation, and replenishment
- Verify parts and ensure quality per IPC standards
- Collaborate with team leads and provide feedback on processes
- Handle moderately complex issues and meet project deadlines
Physical Requirement: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
