Job Title: 2nd Shift Packager

Job Description

This position is an entry-level role in the plastic extrusion department, providing assembly and packaging support for extrusion operators. You will be responsible for assembling housing for cartridges using small hand tools, labeling cartridges, and packaging. The plastic is extruded and rolled on spools, similar to spools of wire or yarn, but 1 or 2 square feet in size. These spools are then removed from the machine, wrapped in plastic, and loaded into cartridges. This role operates within a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble housing for cartridges using small hand tools.
• Label and package cartridges.
• Remove spools from machines and wrap them in plastic.
• Load wrapped spools into cartridges.

Essential Skills

• At least 6+ months of packaging or warehouse experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or assembly environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
