Position Summary:

We are scaling rapidly, and execution across retail, production, and field operations is the critical driver of growth. The Senior Project Manager will own the execution framework that turns enterprise priorities into measurable business outcomes across a national multi-site footprint. This role sits at the center of retail, manufacturing, distribution, and field execution ensuring that strategic initiatives move seamlessly from planning through production deployment and store level adoption.


This is a high ownership role designed for an operator who can drive strategic initiatives, remove operational friction, and partner directly with executive leadership to accelerate growth across a national retail and production organization. You will serve as the bridge between leadership strategy and day-to-day operational execution across stores, cultivation, manufacturing, and operation teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner directly with the President and executive leadership team to define, prioritize, and execute enterprise strategic initiatives across national operations
  • Translate leadership priorities into executable delivery plans with clear milestones, dependencies, ownership, and measurable outcomes
  • Own end-to-end execution of enterprise initiatives across retail, production, and operational teams from concept through deployment and field adoption
  • Monitor progress on key strategic projects and ensure timely delivery of critical milestones and business deliverables
  • Lead the operating cadence for enterprise execution, including project intake, prioritization, roadmap planning, milestone tracking, and launch governance
  • Maintain executive dashboards, launch calendars, KPI scorecards, and portfolio reporting to provide real time visibility into operational performance
  • Coordinate cross functional execution across cultivation, manufacturing, marketing, retail, distribution, supply chain, finance, and compliance teams to optimize performance and execution readiness
  • Facilitate alignment across departments to ensure priorities, timelines, and resource plans remain synchronized
  • Lead special projects and business critical initiatives requiring multi-team collaboration and rapid execution
  • Drive execution of store openings, retail launches, merchandising rollouts, operational transformations, production releases, and market expansion initiatives across multiple regions and locations
  • Partner with retail and field teams to ensure store readiness, staffing alignment, training completion, inventory flow, and systems access before launch
  • Coordinate deployment sequencing across stores, production sites, and distribution channels on a national scale
  • Partner with technology, product, and operations teams to manage production release calendars, deployment milestones, and rollout sequencing
  • Lead production readiness reviews to confirm systems, operational teams, stores, and production sites are fully prepared for go live
  • Manage cross functional dependencies impacting production launches, including inventory, staffing, systems, logistics, and compliance readiness
  • Own risk, issue escalation, rollback planning, and post launch stabilization activities for all business-critical deployments
  • Identify operational bottlenecks across operations, retail, manufacturing, workflows and implement process improvements to increase speed, scalability, and performance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing friction between planning, production, and field execution
  • Own operational budget tracking and financial visibility for enterprise programs in partnership with finance leadership
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing operational insights, strategic recommendations, and risk assessments to support decision making
  • Prepare executive briefings, leadership presentations, operational reviews, and stakeholder reporting materials for internal and external audiences
  • Stay informed on state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and compliance standards impacting multi-state operations
  • Partner closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure enterprise operational adherence and mitigate regulatory risk across all functions
  • Ensure all initiatives align with internal controls, SOPs, and regulatory requirements across all markets
  • Support leadership in driving employee engagement, organizational culture, and execution accountability across teams
  • Assist with talent planning, succession readiness, and leadership development initiatives across operational functions


Qualifications:

  • 5–8+ years of experience in Project management, business operations, program management, or cross-functional operational leadership
  • Strong experience in retail, production, manufacturing, distribution, or regulated multi-site environments
  • Experience supporting fast growth operational businesses, preferably in retail, CPG, or consumer operations
  • Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives across multiple business functions and regions
  • Strong executive communication, reporting, and leadership support capabilities
  • Experience with production deployments, store launches, and operational readiness programs
  • Strong budget management, risk management, and process improvement skills
  • Ability to thrive in highly dynamic, fast scaling, and regulated environments
  • PMP, Lean, or Agile certifications preferred but not required
