Senior Project Manager

Our Client, a multinational mass media and entertainment company, is looking for someone to join their team as a Senior Project Manager!

***This is a hybrid 7-month contract position that takes place in Englewood Cliffs, NJ***

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional programs from discovery through launch
• Build and manage integrated plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and delivery targets across multiple workstreams, using Agile and plan-based Waterfall methods pivoting as needed
• Maintain accurate program tracking, dashboards, metrics, and documentation across JIRA, Smartsheet, and Confluence
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and PMO peers to deliver features and capabilities aligned with business goals
• Proactively identify and manage program risks, dependencies, impediments, and key decisions, driving alignment and resolution with appropriate urgency to support predictable delivery
• Promote team alignment and visibility through clear communication, maintained documentation, and consistent reporting

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience managing and delivering large-scale technology and digital projects in a Project Management role
• 5+ years of experience working with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, and leading cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to establish and implement project management processes in dynamic or evolving environments
• Strong proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and Smartsheet for planning, tracking, reporting, and documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
• Demonstrated success operating and influencing within a matrixed organization
• Industry experience in digital media, interactive media, publishing, or direct-to-consumer subscription products
• Strong technical fluency, along with solid problem-solving and facilitation skills
• Working knowledge of content management systems and APIs preferred
• Experience leading delivery for products and features that enable community engagement and strengthen audience interaction across digital experiences
