Salary/Hourly Rate:

Estimated range: $55,000–$70,000 annually, based on Connecticut pay transparency guidelines and typical compensation for senior administrative roles 12.

Position Overview:

The Senior Administrative Assistant provides high-level support to executives and teams. This role manages schedules, coordinates meetings, prepares reports, and ensures efficient office operations. The position requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain executive schedules
  • Arrange travel and coordinate meetings
  • Prepare invoices, reports, memos, and correspondence
  • Coordinate office services, including records and departmental finances
  • Answer phone calls and direct to appropriate parties
  • Prepare responses to routine inquiries
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence
  • Greet visitors and determine access
  • Prepare agendas and coordinate catering for meetings
  • Conduct research and compile data for executive presentations 3.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years in administrative support roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience handling confidential information
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Experience supporting senior executives
  • Familiarity with expense reporting and budget preparation
  • Prior exposure to project coordination
  • Supervisory experience with clerical staff

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred 4.
