Residential Property Manager (On-site)

Location: Washington, DC

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation: $100,000 per year


Bay Management Company is looking for an experienced and motivated Residential Property Manager to oversee a residential portfolio consisting of approximately 106 units in Washington, DC. What You’ll Do

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a 106-unit residential portfolio.
  • Oversee resident relations, lease compliance, and customer service initiatives.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of property issues.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and daily walkthroughs of portfolio assets.
  • Monitor occupancy, collections, renewals, and overall property performance.
  • Work closely with maintenance teams, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate property records and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Operate from the on-site property management office while regularly visiting and inspecting all assigned buildings.


What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager.
  • Strong understanding of residential property management operations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction.
  • Experience with property management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • DC Property Manager License strongly preferred (Candidates who do not currently hold a DC Property Manager License must be willing and able to obtain one prior to their start date)
