Property Manager – Large Residential Portfolio, Northeast Bronx, NY
I am recruiting on behalf of my client, a well-established residential real estate ownership and management company, seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a large multifamily residential portfolio in the Northeast Bronx!
This opportunity is ideal for a proven Property Manager who knows how to lead a team, manage day-to-day operations, maintain strong resident relations, and keep a property running efficiently.
My client is looking for a strong operator, someone who takes ownership, leads from the front, follows through, and understands what it takes to successfully manage a large residential asset.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a large residential portfolio
- Lead and support on-site staff, including maintenance personnel and administrative team members
- Ensure smooth property operations and a high level of resident satisfaction
- Manage resident concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Oversee vendors, service providers, and maintenance activities
- Monitor property performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement
- Ensure compliance with applicable housing regulations and company policies
- Manage violations and regulatory matters in a timely manner
- Work closely with ownership and senior leadership to provide updates and operational insight
- Maintain strong oversight of building operations, staffing, and property conditions
- Assist with budgeting, reporting, and performance tracking
Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential property management experience
- Experience managing large multifamily residential properties or portfolios
- Proven ability to lead teams and hold staff accountable
- Strong understanding of residential property operations
- Experience handling resident relations, vendor management, and day-to-day property issues
- Knowledge of NYC rent stabilization and residential housing regulations preferred
- Experience managing violations and compliance matters
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on management style with the ability to prioritize and execute effectively
