Position Summary

The Regional Manager provides operational and financial oversight for a portfolio of multifamily properties. This role partners with executive leadership to maximize property performance, develop high-performing teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional resident experiences while achieving budgeted financial goals. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, financial, operational, and strategic planning skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment.


What You'll Do

  • Lead the financial performance of assigned properties through budgeting, forecasting, rent strategies, expense management, and ROI analysis.
  • Analyze monthly operating statements and recommend actions to improve portfolio performance.
  • Coach, mentor, and support property managers and site teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Oversee marketing, leasing, renewal, and occupancy strategies to maximize revenue and resident retention.
  • Ensure properties are maintained in accordance with company standards and a commitment to no deferred maintenance.
  • Monitor compliance with Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant laws, and company policies.
  • Prepare executive-level reports on property performance, staffing, projects, and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify operational efficiencies, emerging technologies, and market opportunities that enhance portfolio performance.


What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of multifamily property management experience required.
  • CPM designation preferred.
  • 5+ years of supervisory or management experience required.
  • Experience leading property managers and site teams within a multifamily portfolio.
  • Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency with AppFolio or similar property management software.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of property operations, maintenance, resident relations, leasing, marketing, and compliance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
