Location: This is a hybrid role based in Philadelphia, PA, with in-office work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.


Note: Must have real estate finance, commercial lending, acquisitions, preferred equity, or debt restructuring experience. Must be admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar or willing to take the Pennsylvania Bar exam promptly after starting.

.Job Description

  • Represent buyers, sellers, borrowers, lenders, and preferred equity investors in sophisticated real estate and finance transactions
  • Work on sales, acquisitions, construction financing, permanent financing, preferred equity investments, and debt restructurings
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents with a high level of accuracy and business judgment
  • Support clients through complex deal structures and help deliver practical, business-oriented legal solutions
  • Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on active transactions
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, investors, and internal team members
  • Manage workflow priorities, deadlines, and transaction details in a fast-paced legal environment
  • Contribute to a team culture built on professionalism, responsiveness, and excellent work product


Qualifications

  • J.D. from a well-respected U.S. law school
  • 3+ years of directly relevant real estate finance, commercial real estate, lending, acquisitions, or transactional finance experience preferred
  • Pennsylvania Bar admission preferred, or willingness to take the Pennsylvania Bar exam promptly after starting
  • Experience with CMBS loans is a plus
  • Strong writing, analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing thorough, polished work
  • Proactive, self-starting, collaborative, and responsive to feedback
  • Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities in a high-energy legal practice
