Responsibilities


  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements for complex commercial assets.
  • Structure and document real estate joint ventures and equity investments.
  • Handle comprehensive commercial leasing matters for both landlords and tenants.
  • Conduct and manage deep-level real estate due diligence.
  • Collaborate with broader deal teams on real estate finance and large-scale development projects.


Qualifications


  • 3 to 7 years of commercial real estate transactional experience (JD Classes of 2019 to 2023).
  • Demonstrated experience with acquisitions/dispositions, joint ventures, purchase & sale, and commercial leasing.
  • A background at a large, recognized law firm is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in real estate finance and development is considered a strong plus.
  • Exceptional academic credentials, drafting capabilities, and communication skills.
  • Active admission to the Texas bar (or ability to waive in promptly).
