Attorney (Commercial Real Estate)

Innovative Driven is currently seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join the collaborative team at one of our most well-respected law firm clients! This is a wonderful opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial real estate deals on a Connecticut-based team. The role is largely onsite in the firm's Greenwich, CT office. If you prefer some remote days, the firm is open to discussion and they have a very reasonable billable hour requirement!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and related transaction documents.
• Manage commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions from initial structuring through closing.
• Assist in structuring and negotiating corporate finance transactions, including loan documentation and related agreements.
• Represent borrowers and lenders in financing transactions, including those involving franchise businesses.
• Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review, and coordinate with lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients on transactional matters and business objectives.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys.

REQUIREMENTS:

• JD from an accredited law school and strong academic credentials.
• Admission to practice in Connecticut (required); admission in New York and/or New Jersey is a plus.
• Must be based in or willing to commute to the Greenwich, CT office.
• Five or more years of experience in commercial real estate and corporate transactions.
• Experience with commercial leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, and financing transactions.
• Familiarity with franchise-related transactions or franchise finance is a plus.
