Company Description
WRDC is an owner/operator of a growing portfolio of open-air retail shopping centers totaling approximately 1 million square feet, primarily leased to national retailers.
We are looking for a highly driven, detail-oriented Property Manager who wants far more than a traditional, siloed role. This position is ideal for someone who wants direct exposure to ownership, leasing, operations, and development—and is motivated to grow into a senior leadership role over time.
This is not a corporate property management job. You will be expected to take ownership, solve problems independently, and operate with urgency and accountability.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across a portfolio of retail shopping centers, including:
Lease Administration
- Read, interpret, and abstract complex commercial leases
- Track key dates (rent commencements, options, expirations, CAM, etc.)
- Communicate with tenants regarding lease obligations
Property & Asset Management Support
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and capital projects
- Source, bid, and manage vendors and service providers
- Identify opportunities to reduce expenses and improve operations
Tenant & Vendor Relations
- Serve as a professional, responsive point of contact for tenants
- Coordinate with national retailers and local operators
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure accountability
Leasing & Development Support
- Assist with new leasing activity and tenant onboarding
- Support redevelopment and value-add initiatives
- Help drive execution across multiple concurrent projects

Experience
- 2–5+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Commercial real estate (property management, leasing, or administration)
- Real estate paralegal or lease administration
- Retail, hospitality, or operations roles with strong vendor/tenant coordination
Retail shopping center experience is a plus, but drive, intelligence, and work ethic matter more than a perfect resume.
