Electronic Assembly Technician

Job Description

An innovative medical device manufacturer in Omaha, NE is seeking a detail‑oriented Electronic Assembly Technician to join a growing production team. This role supports the assembly of small, lifesaving medical devices used in hospital settings. Technicians will work with precision components in a clean-room environment and contribute directly to product quality and reliability.

This position offers multiple advancement levels (Technician I, II, and III), with increasing responsibility, skill expectations, and compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on assembly of small medical device components
    • Tasks include gluing, cutting, labeling, and inserting tubing
  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components, including
    • Wiring connections from circuit boards to screens
  • Conduct quality assurance testing on pumps and electronic displays
  • Accurately complete detailed documentation for traceability and quality compliance
  • Follow clean-room procedures and manufacturing best practices

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience with small hand assemblies
  • Experience using hand tools to screw, glue, or solder small components
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written work instructions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience assembling medical or regulated devices
  • Previous clean-room or controlled manufacturing environment experience
  • Basic understanding of electronics or electro-mechanical assembly

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
