We're partnering with a rapidly growing food manufacturer seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in a fast-paced production environment.
This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys coaching teams, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products while maintaining safety and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and support a team of 15–30 employees across production, quality, sanitation, and warehouse operations.
• Oversee daily production activities, including line startup, equipment setup, scheduling, and product readiness.
• Ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining quality, food safety, and GMP standards.
• Train, develop, and coach team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including TPM programs, root cause analysis, and process optimization.
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
• Manage staffing and workflow to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing a plus).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with TPM or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
