Role Description
This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day to day operations of the plating and polishing department. This includes managing personnel, production schedules, quality control, equipment maintenance, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Duties:
· Maintain and enforce all Safety Regulations and promote a safe work environment with all Supervisors on the floor.
· Plan, coordinate, and monitor production activities in plating and polishing lines to meet output and quality targets.
· Ensure production schedules are met with optimal use of materials, labor and equipment.
· Hire, train, and access employee performance while promoting skill growth and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.
· Focus on continual improvement by implementing “Lean” techniques to improve manufacturing processes.
· Work closely with Quality to meet internal & external quality standards and implement any corrective action if necessary.
· Coordinate all projects on the floor to ensure they are completed by due dates
· Any other misc. duties as assigned by Plant Manager
Qualifications
Salary range $67,000 - $77,000 per year
