Job Title: Press Brake Machine Set Up Operator
Job Description

We are seeking skilled Press Brake Set Up Operators for both 1st and 2nd shifts. You will be responsible for loading programs, setting up machines to precise specifications, and running parts to print. Our equipment includes Cincinnati 6-axis brake presses and Biostronic machines, and production varies from 1 to 5 setups per day.

Responsibilities

  • Load and program the press brake machines for production.
  • Set up the machine to the correct decimals and bends as per blueprints.
  • Run parts to print and ensure quality production.
  • Perform 1 to 5 setups daily based on production requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and balloon dimensions.
  • Utilize quality tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges for inspection.
  • Troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in press brake setup.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding balloon dimensions.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations, including decimals.
  • Experience using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with Cincinnati brake presses.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment

Our facility operates on the 1st shift from 5 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Expect to work 40-50 hours weekly. Our spacious manufacturing and warehouse facilities are conveniently located near major highways, providing easy access. We take pride in our role in supporting military contracts and welcome visitors to see our dedicated team in action.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ferndale, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
