Job Title: Brake Press Operator – Weekend

Shift: Friday–Sunday
Pay Range: Starting at $25/hour
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Global Edge is an award-winning recruitment agency connecting projects worldwide with the industry’s most talented project professionals. Our team is currently recruiting a Brake Press Operator – Weekend.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Set up and operate press brake machines, including loading tooling, dies, and materials
- Position and align sheet metal and materials for accurate bending operations
- Perform bending and forming operations based on engineering drawings and specifications
- Inspect finished components using measuring tools (calipers, gauges) to ensure quality standards
- Perform routine tooling maintenance and replace worn or damaged components as needed
- Troubleshoot minor machine or material issues during production
- Maintain accurate production documentation in Epicor, including reports and scrap tracking
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality teams to meet production goals
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS):
- Minimum 2+ years of machine operation or manufacturing experience
- Experience or knowledge of metalworking, bending, and tooling processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English
