Overview
We are seeking an experienced Piping Material Engineer to join a growing engineering and manufacturing technology team supporting large-scale industrial projects in sectors including semiconductor manufacturing, electric vehicle infrastructure, synthetic materials, and data centers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, select, and apply material engineering methods, techniques, specifications, and standards for large-scale industrial projects.
- Lead material selection, corrosion engineering studies, and development of material selection diagrams and technical reports.
- Participate in the design, development, and modification of methods for manufacturing, molding, and utilization of metallic, plastic, composite, and other materials used in construction and hardware production.
- Analyze material components to establish mechanical and physical properties and review operating data, testing results, and engineering evaluations.
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines, specialty groups, vendors, contractors, construction teams, and clients to resolve material-related issues.
- Support project and construction teams in identifying and complying with project material requirements throughout execution.
- Review and check technical work completed by engineering specialists as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 5–10+ years of relevant engineering experience in piping/materials engineering or related disciplines
- Strong knowledge of Piping Material Specification software such as Smart Plant Reference Data (SRD/SPRD)
- Extensive experience with ASME, API, AWWA, ASTM, and MSS codes/specifications
- Experience developing and maintaining BIM piping FabParts with LOD 100–500 specifications for Plant Design and Piping engineering
- Knowledge of material selection, corrosion engineering, and piping/material standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience supporting large industrial manufacturing facilities, including semiconductor fabs, manufacturing plants, or data centers
- Strong understanding of engineering procedures, plant constructability, and design guides
