What physical demands should you be aware of?
General Demands for the Physical Therapy position are listed under the 'medium duty’ category in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles as published by The U.S. Department of Labor. The physical demands incorporated at The Injury Care Center are not to exceed this level. All employees should seek assistance from another individual to prevent any lifting beyond 50 lb level. The Sit/Stand/Walk ratios tend to be equal at 33% of the day. This ratio remains within the control of the therapist depending on the task that needs to be accomplished.
