We are seeking a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. What You’ll Do
In this role, you will work directly with patients to help them improve mobility, function, strength, and confidence throughout their recovery journey.
Responsibilities include:
- Complete patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment strategies
- Provide skilled therapy interventions based on patient needs and goals
- Monitor progress and modify care approaches when needed
- Guide patients through exercises, education, and functional activities
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and fellow team members
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Areas of Practice
Our rehabilitation team works with a wide range of conditions and patient needs, including:
- Orthopedic rehabilitation
- Sports-related injuries
- Neurological conditions
- General mobility and strengthening programs
- Pelvic health
- Aquatic therapy
- Acute care experience
Clinicians have the opportunity to use their strengths while continuing to build experience in different areas of practice.
For Physical Therapists
This role includes:
- Performing evaluations and establishing patient goals
- Creating individualized plans of care
- Applying clinical knowledge to improve patient outcomes
- Supporting students, assistants, and team development when applicable
- Contributing ideas that improve patient care and clinical processes
For Physical Therapist Assistants
This role includes:
- Providing treatment based on established plans of care
- Working closely with the supervising Physical Therapist
- Helping patients safely complete therapeutic activities
- Supporting positive patient experiences and outcomes
Qualifications
Physical Therapist
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active Michigan PT license
- BLS certification required within required timeframe
Physical Therapist Assistant
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Active Michigan PTA license
- PTA experience preferred
- BLS certification required within required timeframe
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay range: $37.31 – $61.76/hour
