Utility Equipment Company (UECO) is a well-established, family owned, Iowa based company founded in 1967.
As a distributor to the water and wastewater industry, UECO represents multiple major manufacturers of piping for water and sewer applications, hydrants, valves, castings, brass fittings, repair clamps, plus many additional products. UECO also operates a machine shop that fabricates ductile iron pipe to meet specifications for water treatment plants and several other applications. We also have the capacity to perform field services such as tapping mains and AVT valve inserts.
Our customer base is varied. We sell to municipal water and sewer departments, both large and small, as well as the underground contractor community, which ranges from the small to mid-sized locally owned operations to the much larger regional contractors quoting on both private and public projects.

Role Description
We are seeking interested candidates for an outside sales position in eastern Iowa and western Illinois out of our Bettendorf, Iowa location. Product knowledge acquired through any previous plumbing experience, construction management or municipal employment would be beneficial, but not required.

Compensation consists of a competitive base salary plus commissions paid monthly. UECO provides a company vehicle, laptop, cell phone and company credit card. Medical and 401(k) with matching are available upon eligibility.
