We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Outside Sales Representative to join our growing marketing solutions company. This is a field-based sales role focused on visiting local businesses, meeting with decision-makers, and building long-term client relationships. This position requires prior experience in the printing industry or a closely related field (such as signage, promotional products, or marketing services).


Position Overview

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, conducting face-to-face meetings with business owners, presenting customized solutions, and closing deals. You will spend 2–3 days per week in the field prospecting and meeting clients, with the remaining time dedicated to quoting, follow-ups, and administrative tasks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities within an assigned territory
  • Visit businesses 2–3 days per week to meet with decision-makers and build relationships
  • Initiate outbound outreach, set appointments, and conduct in-person sales presentations
  • Leverage industry knowledge (printing/marketing solutions) to recommend tailored services
  • Prepare and present quotes based on client needs
  • Close new business and develop long-term customer relationships
  • Conduct follow-up via phone and email to move opportunities forward
  • Dedicate 8+ hours per week to administrative tasks (quoting, CRM updates, account management)
  • Collaborate with internal production and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and track all sales activity


Qualifications

  • Required: Previous experience in the printing industry or a related field (e.g., signage, promotional products, marketing services)
  • Minimum 1+ year of outside sales or B2B prospecting experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage business owners
  • Proven ability to build relationships and close deals
  • Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented in a quota-driven environment
  • Comfortable spending 2–3 days per week in the field
  • Strong presentation and consultative selling skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and general administrative tasks
  • Professional demeanor with a positive, accountable attitude


Compensation & Benefits

  • $50,000 base salary + commission
