Role Overview

Accelerate Retirement is seeking a full-time Operations Coordinator to join our team in Aliso Viejo, CA. This is a hybrid role, with work-from-home flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

The Operations Coordinator will support daily operational and administrative tasks across the firm. This person will help with client onboarding, account maintenance, documentation, scheduling, reporting, and follow-up items. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with advisors, plan sponsors, vendors, and internal team members.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day operational workflows
  • Assist with onboarding and maintaining client accounts
  • Prepare, organize, and track client and plan documentation
  • Enter and update data accurately across internal systems
  • Coordinate with advisors, plan sponsors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Track requests, follow up on open items, and help resolve issues
  • Assist with scheduling, meeting preparation, and report generation
  • Maintain organized records and support compliance-related processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal workflows and efficiency


Qualifications
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Clear and professional communication style
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
  • Experience with CRM or workflow systems is helpful
  • Financial services or retirement plan experience is a plus
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience

Compensation & Benefits

Accelerate Retirement offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support work-life balance and long-term financial wellness, including:

  • Base salary range of $75,000–$85,000, plus eligibility for 10% bonus compensation
  • 18 days of paid time off and 15 paid holidays
  • Employer-paid benefits
  • 3% 401(k) contribution
  • Shortened Friday hours
  • Hybrid work schedule, including work-from-home on Mondays and Fridays
