Operational Key Account Manager

In this role as Operational Key Account Manager, your primary objective will be to support our top key accounts. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and directing activities across the Savino Del Bene network that support the customer’s business and supply chain strategies. You will ensure that all operational requirements are proactively identified and addressed with the appropriate company resources.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and build strong relationships with the key account stakeholders.
  • Ensure understanding of the customer’s organization and decision-making process.
  • Support sales organization with new customer/business onboarding and hand off to operations team.
  • Monitor inbound/outbound customer communication in relation to shipments.
  • Proactively monitor shipments, including milestones in transit.
  • Create and manage reporting as necessary, ensuring complete and accurate data quality.
  • Review workload and ensure proper handling of shipments.
  • Maintain compliance with the company’s sales management processes and systems and ensure correct and timely updates in the customer relationship system (CRM).
  • Monitor monthly performance and provide proactive corrective actions in case of deviations.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support sales in preparation of regular and structured review sessions (QBRs) with assigned account(s) focusing on review of current customer priorities, operational execution and excellence, and process for continuous innovation and future opportunities.
