Key Account Manager

In this role as Key Account Manager, your primary objective will be to retain and develop existing business by leveraging strong relationships with assigned accounts.You will be responsible for understanding the customer’s business and supply chain strategies, and will ensure that all operational requirements are proactively identified and addressed with the appropriate company resources.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and build strong relationships with the key account stakeholders.
  • Ensure understanding of the customer’s organization and decision-making process.
  • Directly manage the Key Account(s) in alignment with agreed upon targets while providing continuous improvement solutions, with a focus on business retention, long-term relationships, and GP growth.
  • Maintain compliance with the company’s sales management processes and systems and ensure correct and timely updates in the customer relationship system (CRM).
  • Negotiate rates with customers in alignment with sales and product strategy and ensure rate sheets, quotes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are documented and maintained as needed.
  • Monitor monthly performance and provide proactive corrective actions in case of deviations.
  • Create and manage reporting as necessary.
  • Conduct regular and structured review sessions (QBRs) with assigned account(s) focusing on review of current customer priorities, operational execution and excellence, and process for continuous innovation and future opportunities.
