*** MUST HAVE: MATERIALS PLANNING / PURCHASING / SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE AT A LARGE POWER DISTRIBUTION OEM ***
The Opportunity
Our client is one of the fastest-growing power distribution manufacturers in the country - scaling from $60M to $200M in revenue this year, with $300–400M projected next. They are sold out through next year and actively turning down $20M projects because they don't yet have the team to execute. You could be one of the people who changes that.
The Company
Born out of a $250M exit in precision sheet metal manufacturing, this privately held, debt-free startup has grown into a vertically integrated power distribution manufacturer in under two years. Their 115,000 sq ft Marietta facility assembles PDUs, Switchgear, RPPs, and Transfer Switches — shipping 10 units per week — with a sister facility handling sheet metal fabrication, in-house transformer manufacturing up, and on-site testing. A 250,000 sq ft facility in West Virginia was just acquired to support continued expansion.
The COO who joined recently previously took a major power distribution manufacturer from a 16-week lead time to 3–5 days, and the bar has been set at that same level.
If your career has been built inside a Tier 1 OEM you already know what it feels like to be a function inside a machine too large to steer. Decisions made three layers above you. Suppliers who know your company's size gives them leverage. Impact that's real but invisible.
Here, you'll have the authority, the access, and the organizational weight behind you to actually make an impact — and five years from now, the operation you helped build will be visible in everything the company has become.
The Role
This is the senior supply chain leadership seat at the primary assembly facility in Marieeta. You'll own material availability, inventory health, supplier performance, and ERP/MRP governance across an active ETO project portfolio — while developing a Buyer/Planner team and partnering with the Director of Supply Chain on strategic material positioning and commodity risk.
The current team is capable. What it needs is someone who's been inside a major OEM — who understands how large enterprise suppliers are structured, how to navigate them when they push back, and how to hold them accountable when delivery is on the line.
