About Us

Founded in 1995 with a mission to test materials for computer-aided engineering (CAE), DatapointLabs today is the premier materials testing company for the product design community. Over 800 product development centers in 34 countries across the globe have come to recognize DatapointLabs as an important partner. Expert understanding of materials at early stages of product design helps reduce expensive try-outs and prevent failures. Our technical teams test over a 1000 materials a year, including plastics, rubber, composites, foam, ceramics, food and metals. The high volume and diversity of testing is done in a stringent ISO 17025 production environment. DatapointLabs offers research-quality material inputs for CAE in a routine five-day turn around. Data are delivered in TrueDigital format on Matereality (www.matereality.com). Fully equipped with modern instruments and expert personnel, DatapointLabs is a center for the science of materials: physical properties of materials in the solid and melt state, including mechanical, rheological, thermal, pvT, viscoelastic, impact, fatigue, and creep.
